MCX Daily Report: Mentha Oil hits upper circuit Zinc bearish

MUMBAI (Commodity Online): Mentha Oil gained 3.91%. February contract rose to a high of 1487.50 Rs/kg. Positive sentiments from pharmaceutical industries have made Mentha Oil in the gainer?s list. Cotton and Kapas were also in the gainer?s list.

Cotton March rose to 1.34% to 18140 Rs/bale. Strong spot markets and Low volumes have impacted Cotton prices as it was mostly bearish for the last week. Cotton April gained 1.37% to 18470 at 6pm IST. Kapas February rose to 2.08% to Rs 972 per 20 Kg.

On Friday trade, Base metals and Energy was seen in the bearish region on cause of dullness in international markets. Expectations of huge buying from China have negatively impacted the metal prices. Rise in inventories has also impacted the Energy prices.

Aluminium February contract has fallen 1.52% to 109.90 Rs/kg. March declined to 111.30 and April declined 1.27% to 112.45 at 6.15 pm IST. For February contract, support is now seen at 108.6, 108.2.

Zinc February declined 1.13% to Rs 113.40 per kg. April declined 1.08% to 114.95 and March declined 1.04% to 114.30. Depreciation in Dollar index and Weak LME prices has impacted Zinc markets. Lead March declined 0.75% to 126.15.?
