Legal and/or Copyright Question

If you are not the original owner then it is considered copyright material, however if you are able to get permission to use the footage from the original owner then you are okay.

But, depending on the type of copyright content, YouTube won't pick up on it right away unless you send the video for review for monetization. Other then that, only when someone or the original owners find your video and then file a copyright claim on it, will YouTube actually remove the video.

From what you have mentioned you probably can get away with it. Upload the video on a test YouTube account and see if it becomes claimed right away. If not, then like i said unless the original owners find it you should be okay. Either way since you do not own the content, there's always a risk of it being taken down.
