Teenager would-be bomber attack Afghan, NATO troops convoy

AfghanistanA teenager would-be bomber was killed in eastern Ghazni province of Afghanistan after attacking a joint convoy of Afghan and NATO troops on Tuesday.

According to local authorities the attack was carried out by a 12-year-old teenager boy who detonated his explosives near the convoy of Afghan and NATO
troops.

Provincial security chief Haji Asadullah confirming the report said the teenager would-be bomber had planted explosives in his bicycle detonated the
explosives while the convoy of the troops was crossing the area in Ghazni city.

Haji Asadullah further added that only the teenager boy was killed following the blast and an Afghan police officer was injured.

He said Afghan and coalition security forces did not suffer any casualties.

No group including the Taliban militants has so far claimed responsibility behind the incident.
